Is alcohol included in the sets?

No, there is no alcohol included. All of our sets contain the necessary base, herbal ingredients and recipes that you can use to make your own creation according to your own preferences. The alcohol base must be purchased yourself.

What is the best alcohol base for the sets?

We recommend that you buy a good vodka near you. Here you can find recommendations for the individual sets.

  • DO YOUR GIN: Absolut Vodka tastes very neutral and is therefore a good blank canvas on which to paint a colorful gin picture. Something a little more unusual would be a Three Sixty, which has a light note of lemon and vanilla, which makes your own gin very exciting. If you like a stronger alcohol, then we recommend Finlandia. This has a little more alcohol content, which means the gin will be a little stronger.
  • DO YOUR WHISKY: Russian Standard or Smirnoff Vodka have proven to be particularly good here. You can also use a corn liquor. This is known as "Moonshine" but is rarely found in shops. You can of course also use your favorite whiskey and give it your own individual touch.
  • DO YOUR RUM: To better recreate the wood aging process, we recommend a white rum that is preferably unaged. The subtle, light flavor profile allows the mixed spices and fruits to stand out better. Saint James Rum, for example, is of good quality here.
  • DO YOUR VODKA: Simply use your favorite vodka or follow the recommendations above.
  • DO YOUR TEQUILA: We recommend using an unaged tequila as a base for the infusion. An unaged tequila can be found under the name 'blanco' or 'silver', and is usually transparent.

What is the volume of the bottles?

One bottle holds 350 ml.

Can I buy the spices separately?

Yes! And not only that, you can also order many other exciting gin botanicals from our shop, such as rose petals. Simply click on "Shop" at the top of our website.

ORDERING PROCESS

How can I place an order?
  1. Add the selected products you want to order to your shopping cart. You can also update your selection at any time in the shopping cart by adding or deleting products.
  2. Once you have finished shopping, click on “checkout”. You place a binding order by providing us with your shipping and payment details.
  3. In the last step, confirm your order after checking your entries. Once you have read and accepted the cancellation policy and the general terms and conditions, you can complete the order process. We have now received your order and it will be on its way to you as quickly as possible.

I ordered the wrong product, is it possible to change my order?

Please note that we cannot make any changes during the order process. We can only cancel your order completely (if it has not yet been shipped) and you will receive the refund within 3-5 working days. This way you can place a new order with the desired item straight away. To check the possibility of cancellation, please contact us via our contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I entered an incorrect address. Can I still change my address?

We ship twice a day Monday to Friday to deliver our sets as quickly as possible. Please note that we cannot change your address once it has left our warehouse. If you would like to change your address, please write to us via our contact form and we will check as soon as possible whether a change is still possible.

If your order is already on its way to you, we cannot change your address. In this case, the package will be sent to the address you provided and we will ask you if there is a chance that you can still reach the package. If this is not possible and your order is therefore undeliverable, it will be sent back to us. As soon as the package has arrived back at our warehouse, we will refund your order in full or send the package again to a correct address. Please note that it can take up to 21 working days for the undeliverable package to arrive back at us.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, but only if your order is not yet ready for shipping. This is because we have optimized our shipping process and are making every effort to check and pack all orders as quickly as possible. A cancellation would mean the termination of an ongoing shipping process, which would have an impact on all further processes. We therefore ask you to return your order if it is already ready for shipping if you do not want to keep it. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I add a personal note to my order?

We do not offer personal gift notes or gift wrapping for our sets. The boxes are wrapped in colorful packaging. If you want to surprise someone and add a message, we recommend sending an extra card by post.

Which payment methods are accepted?

The following payment options are available in our shop: PayPal, credit card, Klarna Sofortüberweisung, Apple Pay & Google Pay. We are working on offering additional, alternative payment methods in the future.

How can I redeem a voucher / discount code?

You can redeem your discount code by clicking on your shopping cart and then on checkout. On the right-hand side there is a field where you can enter your code. Then click on "apply" and the total of your shopping cart will automatically adjust. Multiple codes cannot be combined.

I forgot to redeem my discount code. What can I do?

Don't worry! We understand that this can happen. Please write to us using our contact form and we will check the code for you to see if it is still valid. If so, we will refund the discount.

I ordered from Amazon or Etsy and have a problem with my order. What should I do now?

If you ordered through Amazon or Etsy, it's best to contact us directly through the platforms, as this is the best way for us to understand what happened. If you can't find us there, send us a message using the contact form on our website.

SHIPMENT

How long does it take to receive my order?

We make every effort to process orders placed during normal business hours within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that orders may take a little longer to process and ship during holidays and promotions. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I choose express shipping?

No, unfortunately we cannot offer express shipping at the moment. Our shipping usually takes 3 to 5 working days.

How can I track my order?

As soon as we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email and another once your order has been shipped. In the second email you will find the shipping information and a link to track your shipment.

If you have not received this email, please write to us using our contact form and we will send you the shipping details.

What can I do if my package has been delivered but I have not received it?

If you were not at home to receive your package at the time of delivery, but you still see that it was delivered, we ask you to check whether the delivery person left any delivery information in your mailbox. The package could be with your neighbor or in a post office nearby. If it still appears, please contact us using our contact form and we will find a solution.

What can I do if my package has been returned to the sender?

If the status of your tracking shows that your package is being sent back to the sender, it could be because your stored address was incorrect/incomplete or the postman did not have access to you. Please write to us via our contact form with your order number and your tracking number so that we can find a solution for you.

RETURN

My order is damaged / defective / incomplete / incorrect. What can I do?

We are very sorry that this happened to you! Send us an email to gin@doyourgin.com with your order number and pictures of your order so that we can forward it to our internal quality management. We will get back to you as soon as possible and find a solution!

I don't want to keep my order. What should I do?

It's a pity that you don't want to keep your order and want to send it back to us. You can register your return using the following link: https://forms.gle/haPnhmzJskGXA6zM7

Please follow the individual steps and adhere to the return conditions so that we can process your return.

Do I have to pay the return shipping costs myself if I cancel my order?

Yes, if you wish to return the order, you will have to pay the return shipping costs. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a return slip. Because we cannot cover the costs of return shipping out of consideration for our environment. We want to raise awareness of delivery routes and thus minimize return routes. We also save a lot of paper by not enclosing the return label in every single package, as it creates unnecessary waste if not used.

Please make sure that you send your return to us with a tracking number. This way we can track your return and guarantee that it will arrive back at our warehouse.

Did you receive my return? When will I receive a refund for my return?

As soon as we receive your return, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your return. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt 14 days after sending your return, please contact us using our contact form with your tracking number so that we can track what has happened.

We are not responsible for packages if no proof of shipment with a tracking number is available.

Your refund will be processed within 14 days and will be made via the original payment method. Refunds to any other payment method are not possible. Please note that, depending on the payment method you choose, it may take a while until you see receipt of payment.

COMMUNICATION

How do I receive my invoice?

You will receive your invoice in the same email as your order confirmation. If this is not the case, please write to us using our contact form and we will send it to you.

I don't receive the newsletter despite registering. Why is that?

As soon as you have registered for our newsletter, you will receive an email with an activation link. If you click on it, you will be redirected to a page that confirms your registration. You have now successfully registered for our newsletter and will always be the first to hear all the news about new products, sales or other promotions.

How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

At the bottom of every newsletter you will find the “Unsubscribe” button. If you click on it, you will unsubscribe from our newsletter.
